He was the last one to fall, at the very end of the great Civil War that changed the world. A legend. He dominated part of the immense Siberia, Mongolia. He led a Cossack and Asian army. Horses, arches, poisoned arrows. He wore silk robes and the same ring of Genghis Khan, the Bogd Lama had gifted him. He was Buddhist, he claimed to be the reincarnation of Gengis Khan. He flailed his victims to death, he inspired novels and books. Defeated, at last, by his Red Enemy, the general Vasily Bluecher. Left alone by his men, captured by the Bolsheviks , he literally swallowed his golden Cross of St. George before being executed. His family in Reval had been exterminated by the insurgents. Set between Asia and Europe, his star rose and then quickly falled. But his legend stays, and his name still lives.
